On the ground floor there is a light airy open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen/dining area. There are French doors which have views of the garden area and the hills beyond.
On the ground floor there is also a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with basin, wc and bath with shower over.
On the first floor there is a charming double bedroom with exposed oak beams.
There is ample parking and visitors can enjoy the private garden area with stunning views across the valley towards the mountains (see the top of this page).

The duck pond
The holiday cottage is situated on a working farm near the village of Ysbyty Ifan on the National Trust Ysbyty Estate, about 5 miles from Betws-y-Coed at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. You will be able to see various aspects of farm life, and there is a duck pond.
Ochr Cefn Isa is an ideal location for enjoying the peace of the countryside, cycling, walking, birdwatching and exploring Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales. For birdwatchers there are red kites, curlews and lapwings to be seen, and there is a birdfeeder at the cottage so that you can get a closer view of the birdlife.
There are local castles to explore including Conwy, Dolwyddelan and Caernarfon Castles, and the steam railways of the Ffestiniog Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway, and the Welsh Highland Railway.
The cottage is perfectly placed for both the lakes and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park, and the coastline of North Wales, including the famous Victorian resort of Llandudno.
Ochr Cefn Isa is accessible via the A55 coast road and the A5.
